82,000 crore defense deal was approved by the ministry, will buy 83 Tejas and 464 tanks

New Delhi 
, the Indian government on Monday, about 100 indigenous fighter jets, helicopters and approved the purchase of 400 Takon.The major defense procurement spending is estimated at Rs 82,000 crore. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar-led Defence Acquisition Council committee 83 Light Combat aircraft (LCA) Tejas aircraft purchase approved.Supersonic fighter-class aircraft LCA Tejas fighter aircraft and is the smallest. 

These aircraft Aeronautical Development Agency and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on behalf of the Air Force and Navy have been prepared for. Defence Procurement Committee approved the purchase of 15 Light Combat helicopters. Also on behalf of the committee and the Indian Army for 464 T-90 tanks, rocket launchers, six regiments of Pinaka Multi buying proposal is passed. 

In October last year the Defence Acquisition Committee approved the third and fourth regiments of Pinaka was granted. Earlier this year board meeting was held on October 20, 145 Ultra Light Howitzer artillery guns from the US to purchase was approved to move into the final round.
